Another very succesful night in March with both shows completely sold out once again. We're now getting much more attention from the industry and many of the writers, directors and actors are gaining offers of work directly as a result of taking part which is FANTASTIC news!! Here's to an even better show in June!
Rebecca from Bare Bones is also currently starting up an informal monthly rehearsed reading event - Saturday Matinee @ The Old Queens Head, N1. This will be a regular informal event on the last Saturday of every month, bring your pint in to see some great new plays read and possibly even some performance poetry too! There's a bar in the room and entry will be pay what you can, so no excuses! Do something different with your Saturday afternoons. First show is 3pm on May 29th.

Just heading into the last weekend of prep and rehearsals. Had an unfortunate last minute change to one of the plays - director Cathal Cleary will now be directing Benjamin Kissel's Just Chuck. The joys of fringe! Looking forward to Monday! Hope you've all got your tickets.

Rehearsals for all four plays are now underway. We have a really exciting mix of pieces this time once again, including entries from brilliant young writer Karis Halsall, currently a member of the Supergroup of ten writers at the Royal Court and also Jack Thorne who has written for film (The Souting Book for Boys), theatre (Bush, Lyric) and TV (Shameless, Skins).

So we're back into the swing of things for the next night on March 29th. Tickets will be released at the start of March and will be onsale at the venue and also online at Ticketweb this time. Sign up to the mailing list to be sure of getting hold of a ticket.
26th January 2010............
Well! Congratulations to the directors, actors and crew who worked incredibly hard both on Sunday and Monday. We had a good turnout for both shows as well as the open dress yesterday afternoon and some lovely feedback from the audience. A great show!
23rd January 2010...........
Dress rehearsal at the Rag Factory is tomorrow. Tickets are now sold out for both shows. If you are interested in attending an open dress rehearsal at the theatre on Monday at 4pm contact us and we'll call you on Sunday eve to confirm.

Casting is now complete and rehearsals have begun. Tickets will be available for sale from this week onwards.

More good news - The Rag Factory have agreed to provide subsidised space to Bare Bones for rehearsals in January. Directors will all be sharing the space for the week prior to the show on the 25th.
11th December...........
Casting now underway - actors details will appear on the January 25th page as soon as casting for a play is complete.
We also now have the wonderful Victoria Cartwright onboard as stage manager.
10th December............
Writers have now been selected by all directors and details of the plays chosen are up on the January 25th page. Meeting up with all directors this evening to make sure everything is in place for casting and rehearsals to begin after Christmas.
16th November...........
New website now up and running.

Bare Bones received over 450 script submissions from accross the UK and some from the rest of the world. An excellent response and extremely promising.

October 2009...........
Directors have now been selected and their details will soon be up on this website. I'm also pleased to announce that Ned Glasier from Islington Community Theatre will be joining the Directing Team and will be working with his talented young actors and actresses from the Work in Progress group at ICT.
The other wonderful directors are: Andy Dawson, Laura Farnworth, Melanie Hillyard, Emily Jenkins, Lora Mander
