Recent feedback from our first night held in January 2010:

"I've seen a number of plays that address the 'youth of today' ... but none which packs a punch like 'Sixteen'....O'Keefe's delivery, emotion and physical presence combined to produce something very special.....Exciting stuff indeed."

"Great delivery and comic timing from Stephen Barden and Michelle McMahon and sparkling wit from writer Tom Jensen."

"Wish I could say more but space is limited. This was a showcase of inspiring creativity. Forget the West End - it's all about the Bare Bones. Bravo."

"Congratulations! All the plays were brilliant and it fully deserved the 5 stars. Best show I've seen for a long time. Many thanks for producing a really enjoyable evening! There was some brilliant drama in there - particularly "Losing It" (incredibly powerful) "UK Plc on Trial" (really inventive physical theatre) and "Sixteen" (hilarious, moving character studies). It's a nice intimate space for short plays too. "

Writer Tom Jensen

"Just to say thank you for all your hard work and a wonderful opportunity. The whole composition of the night and the quality that you assembled were astounding and it was a real privilege to work alongside the directors and actors that you brought together. I hope UK Plc on Trial was up to scratch, for me it was an excellent opportunity to try working in a very different way, big, bold and physical, devising and adapting from a script that was interesting in concept rather than polished and formed. I learnt alot about the demands of working that way and I was reminded of the peculiar skills and challenges of the fringe."

Director Andrew Dawson

"Thanks very much Rebecca. I had a great evening and enjoyed watching the other pieces, especially Laura's and Mel's pieces at the end of each half. I was delighted with the production of mine!"

Writer Adam Barnard

"Thank you very much for such a brilliant night at the ORL last night and for giving me the opportunity to show my work. I was so pleased with how my piece came across and it showed how hard you must all have worked. It's rare to see such a high quality night of new writing. Well done!"
